THE MYTH CALLED BLACK FRIDAY

Do  you know that long before the advent of online shopping, black Friday has been a sort of unspoken culture amongst many.

Well, it wasn't really called black Friday then, I think... but the point is that there has always been set aside a day for in the tide of local commerce when items are sold at a cheap rate to customers.

These days are usually characterized by loud and noisy trading and extremely cheap sales.

Abeg! enough of this historical gibberish.

The point I am trying to make is that everyone ought not to miss out on this exceptional opportunity to get things at a more than convenient rate.

Think of that dream phone of yours, that famed laptop, that elusive gadget that always seems elusive because of the high price.

Well here is your opportunity, visit http://www.konga.com/?k_id=DAP1991 and get more than 50% discount on them.

YOU DON'T WANT TO BE TOLD...

BE PART OF THIS FRENZY.

PREDESTINATION

Good morning to you all my dear readers.
I know I have been saying this a lot but its been a while and I have missed this here: our daily chat and twaddle.
Like I said on earlier posts, I have been in a soul searching mission on how to provide you with the best information in music and literature.
Y'ALL KNOW HOW MUCH I CARE ABOUT YOU GUYS....
Any who, 😀... every once in a while I like to kid myself that I might be the next Shakespeare so I scribble my thoughts the best way I know: poetry.
Here's one for you guys. It was inspired by the theme for November on the storried monthly competition: EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.
I hope it helps you as it has helped me.

Between uncertainty and divinity,

In that famed yellow wood

Between knowledge untold

And beauty foretold

I must choose a path

Doth God prance in shadows?

Mocking our heartfelt hallows

To twitch, switch and stitch at will

Are we but for sport and thrill?

Or is there an order that all must kowtow?

Hath I the eyes to stare at divinity

I would have lain my quest

Of the dark shroud that conflicts my thoughts

But I must trust in his infallible insight

For he who made the earth spin

And the sun wing her warmth

Doth know my will and time’s mill

Here something for an afterthought: do you think that our lives are pre planned by an ethereal being and that we have been set on a path irrespective of what we do or do you think that our lives are predicated on what we do.
Share your feelings on the comment section and help us understand life better.

SANDPAPER

scratch my weary backs till it bleeds
I am worn from bending over
in your eyes are my mural's needs
a bend in the pane, a stroke of color

you tread with me tirelessly
even as I tread the yellow woodland
eyes boring into my heart's intent
each lake, each path, each high ground

I am renewed from your ruthless care
I have bled and healed over
flowers and nectars I can now dare-
wear as my soul's cover

but I fear what fate has made of you
your palms weary and torn
no longer feels the touch of dew
while a new rage in you is reborn.

100 PERCENT ASSURED WAYS OF GETTING A REAL JOB ONLINE

Yeah I know...
Before you say it, I know its been a while since we've had our routine conversation. The truth is: I have been busy researching on how to bring the best musical and literary content to you and while this endless project still goes on, I just wanted to say hi.

Of course my HI's always comes with a surprise package and this time there is promise of monetary value.

IF ONLY YOU DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO...

Well, enough dilly dallying. Here's my special package for you:

HOW TO MAKE MONEY AS A WRITER

A few years ago, being a writer was considered just a hobby unless of course you have attained the milestone of having a published book but with the advent of new businesses online, writing has transcended the mire of being just a boring hobby and has evolved into a cool professional job such that those who once mocked her patrons are now paying to learn.

This economic boom can be attributed to a surge in the need for writers in various professional reasons mostly online. Being a professional writer is now one of the few cool jobs one can have either on a freelance base, side job base or on a full time base. Some of the abounding areas of opportunities from where a writer can make his or her fortune are:

·         BLOGGING: Until recently and by recently I mean a decade and some years ago, blogging was just a hobby for either boring nerds with a fancy for the computer keyboard over the traditional pen and diary or high school and college gossip marauders with too much time and too little home works on their hands. Fast forward a few more years and you have a multi-billion dollar market with multiple income generating outlets including affiliate marketing, YouTube views, AdSense, content marketing, product reviews and a host of others. Bloggers can now conveniently make six figures and sometimes even seven figures from just playing with words, pictures and videos in the comfort of their sofa.

·          FREELANCE WRITING: This is probably the biggest financial opportunity for writers. With the recent increase in the need for quality articles, product descriptions, sales pages, online marketing, ghost writing, copywriting and other important writing related skills, the availability of jobs for writers has no limit. Online platforms like freelancer, Fiverr, Upwork, Craiglist and a host of others including LinkedIn, have also paved a way for writers who might not know the ropes in securing freelance writing jobs. These companies provide jobs for writers in exchange for a commission or a fix pay from the writers earning.

·         ONLINE WRITING CONTESTS: As ludicrous as it might sound, engaging in online writing contests is a very profitable way of generating good income on the side for writers and the great news is that there is never a shortage of writing opportunities. The question most often, is how to separate the real ones from the fakes and how to protect your creative property from being stolen. The answer to the first question is simple: RESEARCH! RESEARCH! RESEARCH! To the other question though I have no real answer than the obvious fact that success is a risk and for only those who dare to delve into it.

The list is endless and I mean that seriously. There is no way to exhaust the myriad of opportunities that abounds for writers but it would suffice to say that these three are amongst the most probable and validated options a fledging writer has to explore. Whether this is a product of success cases like Linda Ikeji, Bamidele and other notable examples, one cannot say but one thing is for sure and that is the fact that as long as the world of the internet grows, there will always be more opportunities for writers to make more money.
