THOSE WHO
DO NOT FIGHT
For we are at war daily
While our hopes bleeds by the roadside
We fight with our fleshy cravings
Till wearied, our laden souls reside
But those who do not fight,
Whose weapons are not of might?
But sword of knowledge and light,
Shall everyday be all right?
When the world rages on in pride
Our hearts shall humbly be mild
And when fame and fortune we can’t find
We shall embrace naught but love divine
Time has taken us thus far
Where hope bedridden lies still
But our heart we set on life yonder
Where hate defines not what we will
After all is said and done
We shall prevail over our lust
Rooted still till war be gone
Sailing the elixir of the just
