CONVERSATIONS:
Too many big words
(ANTHOLOGY
OF POEMS THAT CONTRASTS BIG WORDS WITH SIMPLE THEMES)
CONVERSATION 1
I am convulsed genially of expressions
There resides within this vessel a vortex
It rages like snow in Christmas
And green weed in autumn
Depart! Depravity and incertitude
Twin sisters of all Gothic and surreal
It’s a queer day
Perchance the sun will hoist her gargantuan mast
And the moon a melancholic tune
The stars might caper in hilarious gaiety
And blue leaves fall from green skies
Till I recall a certain phenomenon
Maybe all I need do in simplicity
Is to myself a happy birthday wish
For big words doth spoil big days
And in simplicity alone I was formed
