Why writers need to go online

With the viral increase in the influence of the internet, it is almost a no brained for any creative brand not to be well positioned there.

Writing is no exception. As a matter of fact, the business of writing has gotten to a level where one needs a working knowledge of the internet to thrive.

The question to consider though is why?
Why is it so important for writers to craft themselves with the internet as a template.

I will answer this question with a few points:

• Most of your consumers as a writer are active on the internet. Heck people hardly read hard covers these days except old fashioned book lovers like me. 😕
• Businesses online are now seeking writers more than ever. So if you are into professional writing, you might want to consider this.
• The internet has made it easy for writers to self publish their books, market them and make profit without going through the rigours of traditional publishing.
• With the internet, you can create a stream of income that will outlive you.

These and many more are some of the iimportance of leveraging on the internet as a writer.
