Throw in the brushes and strokes here
let us give character to art's dimensions
resonating lines void of fear
palettes and strokes of sharpened visions

Too long have you wondered dear hermit
i have watched you watch the setting sun
beneath that sequoia tree void of wit
seeking a miracle to fashion art's urn

worry no more for her face have i seen
lounged in the pool of the plutonian spring
yes. lights did spark at beauty so serene
still there was that lack of ethereal ring

she walks both the yellow and brown path
plagued by fear like us all
she dances to rhythm and weeps when hurt
and is not a Mona Lisa in a french mall

when she spoke it was not a rumble
but a sotto thunderous whisper
a cry in the wilderness of shadowed trouble
a song to the passionate soul none sweeter

men who seek me in the dark
must shift their tent to areas brighter
for though the tunnel leads to light
it remains dark after the tide
