THE LONGEST POEM IN THE WORLD

Mark it in your calendar because today, you are part of making history.
This is the first post of what will be the longest poem in the world.
Remember this day when i receive the Guinness world record and even better be a part of the sequence that will lead to its achievement.

Remember when i said i was going to create a nerd's diary?
well here it is and even better, it is cloaked in the beautiful facade of a poem
ENJOY!

Diary of a Nigerian nerd
So much thoughts,
Nerds and glasses,
Geeks and their awful toys,
Ponders and wonders,
Overthinking it,
Superheroes and their weird powers,
Are these the theme?
One might be tempted to ask
Yes I do overthink things
And sometimes under think things
Sometimes I am the thought
Other times there are no thoughts
Then I am between thoughts
Or beside them, or under, or…
You see!
I am doing it again
But let me for a moment
Stop and stare at the roses
In my fate, I will poke nose
And tell my story
Of a genius self-claimed
A journey of thoughts
An experience riddled and punctuated
With life and her throes
Some pleasant, other surreal
Which is more I dare not speak
For faith, for truth
But each day suffix to tell a tale
Teach her lesson
And offer a hole into the dark cauldron
The tunnel of mysteries
That few dare to peek
And fewer get a glimpse
So gather around little ones
Children of the sun
Whose eyes are blinded in lust?
And peek with me into incertitude
That together we might find:
The lost elixir…
The unopened parchment…
The untold tale…
Of who we are and
Why life has kept us thus:
A windblown chaff?
A stunted old tree?
Or a shivering pine.

 FIRST THOUGHTS
Sometimes I like to stare
At stars, trees and waters
Oft I see nothing there
But nature in her pattern
Still I stay and stare
I pray, I yearn
To see, to hear
 A soothing voice like:
The crash of waters
The swirl of breeze
Who am I? I ask
This careful lump of clay
Whose thoughts are as diamonds?
I like to see of myself
A silver lined cloud
In a world riddled with murk
A jaunty gay rhythm
In a room plagued of requiems
A daring carefree lark
Singing in the midst of owls
But then time clicks and
And flicks her wand
And I am back again amongst thorns
Crushed by the weight of necessity
Drowned in routine and needs
Will I ever scale that hurdle?
The dark cloud that doth limit man
Only in death raised
Seconds before being shut
Forever in nirvana or hades
Where the story remains
Never told to clueless lifers
Whose days continues in oblivion
Thoughts twining thoughts
Till confusion births exasperation
And hope is shut in despair
Till fate becomes the enemy
And life loses her charm
Till the branch of a tree becomes home
Hanging another life
Another befuddled victim
In this race against time
This joke that never elicits laughter
They never told us at birth
When we cried and asked
Why we were called
From the lull of nothingness
Into this hub of rage
And then I fall into a deep sleep
And in my sleep, a deep dream
And in my dream, a deep ditch
And in that ditch, a mean witch
And in that witch, a cruel wish
And in that wish, death is deemed
As to deem and thread the seam
That I might never see
The things that I wish.
 Who am i?
What is that dream?
