THE AFTERMATH OF VALENTINE

I have often asked myself a very keen question, and for a long time it has nagged my subconscious.
Recently i stumbled into an amazing as a result of pondering on some issues i observed around me.
i asked myself this simple question: why do people involve themselves in regrettable actions?

Yes it is true that everyone created by God has an innate potential for Good, so why do humans more than often involve themselves in actions that contradicts with God's original design in us.
I discovered some very key reasons why people respond to decisions in a negative manner.

One of these reasons is low self esteem: i have found out that most of the wrong decision made by people is mostly rooted in advice gotten from peers or influences garnered from the media. We live in a world where people are not sure of what they want to do in life and often turn to opinions and trends as guide for their lives. If you have any hope of living your life in purpose, then you must learn to keep your head high when others are bending, to rock the boat when others are following the flow and to stand outside and possibly alone when what you believe is being opposed by everyone around you.

The next factor that contributes to the rise of wrong decisions around us is competition. Words cannot suffice to explain in details how much this vice has caused a lot of great minds but let it be known that competition as an adopted trait has caused great harm and so much that some people who by default are of kind hearts and gentlespirits transform into monsters of hate, greed and envy. Let every man be confident of his or her dream and pursue it with all their heart irrespective of the trend of things. Success is not majored by a universal scale, instead it is measured by a personal scale that measures the ratio of your dreams to how much you are able to achieve.
Finally, as the saying goes, evil communication corrupts good manner. We should be mindful of the compay we keep as it inevitably defines who we are over time.

Once again happy valentine to y'all
LOVE GOD, LOVE YOURSELF AND LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR...
