Most people have the wrong notion what the problem with our
nation is.
If you take a random survey, chances are you will get answers
like:
·
The lack of true values
·
Greed and ambition
·
The lack of dream and purpose
·
The lack of unity and love for one another
The list will be endless as you might guess but you can
almost bet that this particular one will not come up.
WHY IS THIS?
Maybe it is because most people do not pay attention to this
particular aspect of life.
It seems so obvious that it practically swirls through our faces
on a daily basis and while we see it, we pay little or no attention to it.
I know some of you might be asking in your mind: what is this
thing?
Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you one thing
that will definitely change your life, passion and career for good.
This thing will transform how you view life, success and how
happy or fulfilled you will be.
This elusive day to day principle that we come across every day
and take for granted is called: FOCUS
Think about this: with focus, it will be easier to define
what exactly you want from life.
You see, not everyone is meant to be the richest man in the
world as a matter of fact, not everyone is meant to be rich.
Some of us are just meant to build up a church in our
locality and transform the people of that community to the right part.
Some of us are meant to open up the first book club for children
or the first poetry open house in a local not too literary friendly area.
The essence of true fulfilment is to discover that thing that
makes you happy and be the best in that area no matter what.
Focus makes you pursue your one true goal and passion as a
broke man even when you have other options that can fetch you instant wealth
and material satisfaction.
Focus gives you the confidence to live and build your social
life around what you believe.
It gives you the will and resilience to stand by what you
believe and desire to learn as much as possible about that thing you seek to be
in life.
So to make our life meaningful and successful, we do not need
extraordinary dreams neither do we need all the material possessions the world
has to offer.
What we need is a sense of purpose, a passion to follow and a
persevering focus to do the best we can to affect our lives and those around us
with that particular area of purpose and passion.
