SUNDAY- LIFE PRINCIPLES 1

Recently i have gone through some experiences and tutelage that has taught me a lot about life and so i have decided to pass it on in what i will be calling THE SUNDAY LIFE PRINCIPLES...
Yeah, i know i promised to give my readers a daily dose of wisdom and didn't meet up with that yesterday.
For that i am indeed very sorry...
I promise to make it up by making today a double dose session
The first principle we will be discussing today is: THE PRINCIPLE OF LOVE OVER LUST
I had a very intense conversation with a friend and in that conversation, she pointed out to the fact that these days, lust has become such a popular theme so much that love sounds almost alien to the ears
I thought about this for a while and finally concluded that she has a very good point
ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS:

• Why has sex been so trivialized such that everyone finds it alright to exploit the other person just to have sex or use sex as a weapon to get something from the other?

• Why is it considered weakness to put another person's need before your own selfish lust?
• Why is lust the basis on which relationships are built these days?
• Why is it that the world is so demoralized today and people have forsaken old values like dignity and self respect?

 The answer to all these questions are simple and straight forward: MEN DO NOT KNOW HOW TO LOVE ANYMORE...
You see, Love is not based on how much you get from a person but it is based on how much you can give to that person.
YEAH NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR THAT ANYMORE
Bur it is the truth and a bitter one to swallow
Not only that but love challenges you to do things for others more than it moves you to take from them
Simply put: LOVE IS A LIFESTYLE BASED ON GIVING
And it is the best and happiest way to live truly and happily...
